Reforming education to ensure all children have equal access to high quality education. Daniel Loeb serves as Chairman of the Board of Success Academy Charter Schools and supports numerous educational non-profit organizations.
Expanding freedom to ensure LGBT individuals and couples can live free from discrimination and enjoy their inherent basic human rights across the globe. Daniel Loeb backed the effort to secure the freedom to marry for all New Yorkers in 2011 and supports Freedom for All Americans, American Unity Fund and the Human Rights Campaign’s Global Initiative.
Improving the criminal justice system to ensure every American receives fair treatment under the law. Efforts supported include the Innocence Project, the Marshall Project and the Brennan Center for Justice.
Researching prevention and treatment and finding a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease. The Margaret and Daniel Loeb – Third Point Foundation has donated $15 million to Mount Sinai Health System to establish the Ronald M. Loeb Center for Alzheimer’s Disease, which is bringing together genomics, bioinformatics, imaging and clinical trials to increase the pace of research.
Celebrating American heroes who inspire us with their courage, focus and determination. Daniel Loeb serves on the board of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation and supports the Challenged Athletes Foundation and the Navy SEAL Foundation.
